Jason P. Howie Named London/Windsor Family Law Lawyer of the Year in 2023 Edition of Best Lawyers in Canada
Howie Johnson Barristers & Solicitors would like to congratulate its partner, Jason P. Howie, for being named Family Law Lawyer of the Year for London/Windsor in the 2023 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada™.
Jason attended law school at the University of Windsor and graduated in 1984. He soon developed an interest in family law and has restricted his practice to that area for over 20 years. Jason went out to form his own firm in 1994. After practicing in downtown Windsor, he moved his practice to the Walkerville area.
Jason has appeared in every level of Court in Ontario. His caseload includes appearances at both the trial and appellant levels. He has taught the Family Law section for the Law Society of Ontario for many years in both London and Windsor. Jason has also appeared as a guest speaker at the Faculty of Law and as a speaker for the Ontario Bar Association. He has made submissions on family law reform to the Ontario Legislature and is past president of the Essex County Family Law Lawyers’ Association. In 2004, Jason was designated by the Law Society of Ontario as a Certified Specialist in Family Law.
Congratulations to Jason for this honour!
